Enjoy a theatre performance in Waterloo Region

Region of Waterloo residents are fortunate to have many theatre experiences happening all through late winter and early spring. Kitchener’s Centre in the Square, Galt’s Hamilton Family Theatre and St. Jacobs Country Playhouse and Schoolhouse Theatre once again offer all sorts of worldly entertainment across Waterloo. 

Kitchener’s Centre in the Square in the heart of the downtown will host Cirque De La Symphonie, Jim Reid, Jim Cuddy Band, Bill Burr and a slew of other top tier entertainers through March into early April. Purchase tickets online and peruse the upcoming schedule by visiting:

The Drousy Chaperone takes over the stage at St. Jacobs Country Playhouse March 28 to April 15. Book your tickets to any of one this theatre group’s 2018 performances by visiting them online at: Don’t miss Hairspray, The Birds and The Bees or one of Broadway’s greatest love stories, West Side Story.  This years Drayton Entertainment line-up is loaded with big titles throughout the season! 

Improv comedy lovers should head out to 122 Frederick St. on March 19 at 7 p.m. for Laugh Your Heart Out! Laugh out loud at comedians who started out from The Second City. This Registry Theatre performance will help support the work of counselling services in the community. This event is presented by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. Tickets are $40 each and funds raised support accessible mental health services in Waterloo Region.

For a different kind of entertainment take a step back in time with Waterloo Central Railway Train Experience. Tour the Train store before hopping aboard one of three different theme trains happening March into early April. Celebrate with the Easter Bunny or wear green at the St. Patricks Day parade.
